Software systems have been playing important roles in business, scientific research, and our everyday lives. It is critical to improve both software productivity and quality, which are major challenges to software engineering researchers and practitioners. The 2023 International Workshop on Intelligent Software Engineering (ISE 2023) seeks to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners to discuss and evaluate the latest challenges and breakthroughs in the field of Intelligent Software Engineering, and to identify future trends and problems in the area. Communication between academia and industry is intended, on the one hand, to help transfer problems from industry to academia, and on the other hand, provide practical applications for theoretical research results. The workshop welcomes papers and presentations about Intelligent Software Engineering, and related areas.
